FS: HVX200 (never used) plus extras

I have a brand new HVX200, never removed from its original sealed Spec Comm shipping container, with original receipt for verification. This is a brand new spanking camera that has never been touched.

I ordered the camera while I was in Thailand filming the Vegetarian Festival with a Thai cameraman using his Canon XL-2. I got some unbelievable footage and wanted to continue filming the following year using my own camera, but it never happened. The camera just sat in my closet, the box never opened.

The original warranty has expired, but since I ordered it with my Amex card (which extends the original warranty an additional year), I can warrant the camera against any and all defects on purchase.

I would like to get $4200, plus shipping and insurance. The purchase comes with Barry Greens HVX Book.

HA ha ha...yea, open the box and take pictures of the camera then put it back in the box for shipping. think outside the box bro
 
didn't mean to offend anyone..just couldn't help laughing as I imagined a photo of a brown box :-)

but if he opens the box, then the collectors value will go down right?

I'm interested to, and would like pics,

this was back when they were giving away to two 8gb cards right? wonder if the warranty card will still get you a 16 gb
 
Yes, the camera is still available. It won't look any different from a new HVX200 you get from SpecComm. The camera has not yet seen the light of day or been soiled by human hands, much less used. This I can promise. If you need assurances, I will provide what you need through private correspondence.
 
wlove, dude, you have three posts here and you claim to be selling a sealed in box HVX from spec.com (why did you never open it? why not return it for full value, if you've had it too long to return, the circle starts over ... why did you not ever open it).

In other words, you're not going to sell this here unless you take a picture of the sealed box sitting on your kitchen counter, preferably with you sitting next to it.

I'm not calling you a liar. I'm saying anyone that buys from you with three posts on User and all in this thread with nothing to substantiate your claim - would be more than a little naive, and a little too trusting.
 
dude. wlove. post a picture. enough people have been scammed here that everyone is skeptical, especially when the seller is dodging a simple verification that the item exists. they're asking for a picture to see if you're legit. are you legit, wlove?
 
the guys are right. i was interested until I decided to exercise a little due diligence... you just joined and you only have three posts AND you have an unopened box... a few alarms are going off here, so for us truly interested buyers, do us a favor and take it out of the box and take a picture. a picture with you and the box is better than no picture at all and worth $4200 in my opinion
