i saw that the other day. those tempest guys are really good. i met a few of them out in LA last year at the Ninja Warrior competition. i love the style of this video. it's one of, if not the, best parkour videos around. i'm guessing you did all 60p and some time mapping?

my brother is also a free runner, and i'm working on a new video for him and his group in SC. i have two really complex steadicam shots completed. they took all day to pull off, because we had like 7 guys we had to choreograph. we did them about two months ago, but haven't had time to get everybody together again. that's the look i'm going for, with the time mapping and long continuous moving shots. great work!

I have worked with those guys in L.A.. Rich King ..and Fern. Great guys!

Two words: KICK A**!!!!!

Beautifully filmed video, amazing parkour, and fabulous editing! Well done, sir.

Outstanding camera work. Very impressive. Some of it is so smooth, it's unbelievable, the post on that must've been something... but regardless, there are some very, very difficult shots that were pulled off. Wow. Good choices in general all down the line. And the parkour guy is a very impressive athlete. I also liked how pure his performance was - he limited himself to just really nice jumps and flips, which he is obviously a master of, and didn't do too many distracting things like wall climbs etc. This gave his performance a kind of unity - and the choice of environments and color and camera work re-inforced this unity. So I'd give this an A++ for all those things.

Now the less impressive - what did you think I'm only going to talk about the good? The less impressive was the music - though, hey, it can be a matter of taste, so I wouldn't get bent out of shape over that... even though why not try for something with a bit more originality. Still, not a big objection. And finally the bad - the guy dancing. Seriously, lose that, it makes him seem like a douche. And it really doesn't belong at all in the video, it brings nothing to the table.

But overall, ***kin' A, man!

Hah, the dancing. Somehow I kinda liked the contrast from the "wild and crazy guy"
douche dancing to the master of the matrix free running. I think there is something
good there. I'm not sure if it paid off though. Maybe some more closeups and slo-mo to camp it
up a bit. Sell the douche dancing as hard as the free running and it could be
a lethal combination.

Two things, first, how come nobody sent this to me (seeing that I use pk in my features), and second, how did you get hooked up with Tempest?

Brilliant camera work! The angles and movement really helped to accentuate the kinetic nature of the sport and showcase the dude's athleticism and skill.
