Frames from a recent shoot

Can't post any footage yet, but here are some frame grabs from a recent comedy sketch shoot I did earlier in the week. If you have any lighting/framing suggestions I'd gladly take them. Used this also as a bit of a lighting exercise. I wish I had lit it a bit darker, although for comedy I guess it works. These have been graded/grained to the "look" I want.

Also decided to shoot at a lower ISO and wider aperture (against my better judgement) and am kicking myself for it now. In 1080p it's a bit soft. Live and learn.

Agreed, like the look. I'd say it was probably good that first shot was a bit soft. The blinds are about to alias something fierce there :) And when blinds alias, they get nice colored edges on the Canon. I know because I've had to deal with this on a bunch of occasions.

The moon is a little too close to the window. I can see the spill on the trees behind, just a little too sourcey. Is that the light in the second to last frame?

I was thinking more ambient light outside (house or street light) rather then moonlight.

Personally I try and only sim moonlight when there is no other (or a very small) motivational source. I can understand then natural inclination to think it is moonlight though. Will think on that.

I was thinking it was an outdoor porch light or something, from the first frame, but I agree on the 2nd to last frame, it's just so bright in the window, it kind of dominates that scene. Even if it were a streetlight, I don't think it would be that white, or, that bright on the leaves and such right there at the second to last. Given I like the blinds cutting up the light on the wall, this is a case where you might have to cheat the light around depending on the view to keep from having those overly intense hot spots like that.
