I watched it last night and the camera can resolve some detail for sure. What gives it away is the harder highlights. Softer would have looked much better but overall it looked great.

Nice. Eyes in focus, ears and tip of nose soft is shallow DoF enough for me.... at least as I slowly start to get tired about pictures from bokeh-fanatics that are 90% out of focus.

Guess vimeo-compression killed a lot of what was in the original... shot in colour I presume?

Thought that looked pretty good actualy on my cheap hdmi/vga monitor.
It was a piece where I didn't really care what it was shot on.

No noise at all even with all the dark colors. (the link says shot in color and B&W in post) I think it looks great. Those highlights didn't look harsh to me, other than the direct reflections off the shiny parts of the guitar and a direct low kicker. The kicker was for effect. Well done.

I wish we could have downloaded the original fille. But even with Vimeo compression it looked noise free and detailed.

vimeo doesn´t add noise, only compression artifacts. Watch this and many other films....there is no noise on vimeo unless it was there before it got to vimeo.....

I thought the clip looked good as well especially the close-ups. I don't mind if it looks a little video-ie seeing that is was shot with a VIDEOCAMERA LOL.

GAH! All that aliasing on the guitar strings was hideous!!!!

Oh, wait... there wasn't any aliasing. WOO HOO!! I love this camera.

I thought the footage looked absolutely perfect. Wish we could download the high quality file, but man that looked good!

The footage looks pretty darn good. Shame the video seems slightly out of sync with the audio at about 00:11 :(

I'm being more and more impressed by the AF as time goes by.

I like the song and the video.

The B&W has me wondering how the AF will look in a soft sepia or de-sat look?

Are you wondering if the AF images would look any different to any other camera images when a sepia or de-sat CC is applied?

Any how... i thought the clip looked great ...apart from some of the wide scenes appearing a little under exposed compared to the C.U s

To me the whole clip looks very videoish. Maybe due to the hard spot lighting.
Not to discredit you or your opinion, but really what does videoish mean? This has a very high contrast grade and lighting, which can seem videoish. But really, it's obvious that the hidden "black" areas are meant to be just that. I'd wager that if the performer was in a location, a bar, pub or even a bed room, you'd think it less videoish because you'd be able to see some more range.

I'm pretty sure that this was a sought after look, which was well executed. Whether or not it looks like we wish it would is not really a concern. Truly, this camera excelled at the style. Detail, DoF, not blown out or noisy... The AF100 really shines here. I would say strongly that this is filmic, depending on what film stylings you compare it to.
