For Married people only.

That's because you have to take the hand lotion out to a nice dinner and perhaps a romantic drive through the countryside to get the allure back into the relationship. Just don't let your wife find out.

Bat - I've been with hubby over a decade working/living 24/7. I DO get where you are coming from. We worked as 'resident' managers at hotels, but we still found time apart until Santa Cruz. Small hotel, bad weather, it can definitely get itchy.

Oh, btw, only certain types of "lotions" have staying power. Not that I would know or anything...

Captain - we're not talking about "sex" we're talking about playing the SAXaphone. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Only a few married people do it, not sure why.

There's my trouble--I sold my saxaphone two years before I got married.

(No, really, I did, I'm not making that up. :D )

Capt - no worries, learn to play the "flute" girls did that sort of thing, an instrument you hold sideways...

ZaZa - uh, love me - lol

Sad - yeah, that custom titles is a totally trip, you mods are sick and sic, good thing there's no mention
of the number 4 or lotions...

Spoken like someone who isn't married, or is still in the honeymoon stage, and doesn't have kids. :)

When you have a few rug rats running around and you finally get two minutes peace with your wife... you usually feel like passing out.

As time goes on and the kids get a bit older (6 or 7) you find yourself with more time and more energy. Things get back on track.

MAH

...and that's exactly why some of us will never get married or have kids ;)

I don't blame you if you got a few kids, you're married, you have all of these responsibilities, you would probably have a lot less time for a lot of things. And if you had little rugrats running around, you're going to be exhausted half the time even if you don't work that hard. I can't imagine that lifestyle, not for me!

Being aunt & uncle is where it's at. 85% of the perks for less than 15% of the trouble.

Your children have been quite amusing this afternoon. You may take them home now.

We never wanted kids either. Then all of a sudden 2 back to back and she was on birth control. We had done the abortion thing many years prior and vowed to never go through that again so we just went ahead with it. Hell it took us a decade to have one. We were so not ready to be parents in any capacity. All we did was party, travel, buy expensive clothes, cars and motorcycles...then...gone. But I truly do not regret it. I love my babies. but I do miss my Benz and my GSXR-1000.

I've been both, it's just not the same...Raising a kid is high stress, but even higher reward. I feel the reward is most certainly worth it. But it's useless to try and convince someone until they've felt it themselves.

I didn't say that it was the same; I pointed to the 85% / 15% split. I don't doubt at all that the rewards increase along with the stress. But for my part I can be content with my 85% :).

one example... sending your kid to school for the first time.... turned out to be quite a sentimental experience... (My oldest just started school last week)..

It's little things for me....
