Thanks for the info, I think I came across more negatively on you than I intended. Always good to know what hasn't worked for users in the past and what support or lack thereof that they got.

looking up info on the 240i or 260i (rack mount) from Sound Devices it says up-conversion (more so on the 260i spec sheet) from 720p or 1080i to 1080p... wondering if anyone has tried this since the C100 only does 60i... like to see what the up-conversion looks like from the 240i from 1080i to 1080p....
