Sorry if this has been asked. I searched the forums but found no answers.
I've recorded tests in 720/30p, 720/24p, 1080/30p, and 1080/24p. All were imported into FCP 6.0.3 using the default ProRes 422 codec.
I've imported using the Log And Capture window. I've also dragged the folder clips off the card and onto the hard drive and pointed my log and capture window to that. But the same thing happens...
When I play back the clips in the viewer or the canvas, the audio plays at normal speed but the video is much faster. When the fast video ends, that's the end of the clip, the audio playing at normal speed just cuts out.
I've plugged in the USB wire into both the front and back ports of my computer. I tried the Apple Intermediate Codec too, with the same results.
Is this a camera setting? A Final Cut Pro setting? Do I need a new USB wire (As I'm used to FireWire, I don't know if there are wires specifically for USB 2.0 and others specifically for USB 1.0 and I happen to be using the 1.0).
Thank you.
