C100: Flat and noisy on Avid-help

The format is 1080i/50 and yes color space Ycbcr 709.
I imported in Avid using Dnx 120. I tried 185, same thing
Here is a screenshot of image settings when I am importing. Is something wrong ?

And oh I just realized that I selected Private project instead of Shared...Not good for me since I have to send the hard drive in France with the project. Where do I find the private Project file (.avp) ?

C100 record files in 709 color levels, not in RGB color levels (you have wrong import setting).
You must set Avid project to the resolution of the clips for corect import.
If you have 50i clips you must set 50i project setting for import.
Viewer quality must be set to green/green icon (the best quality) and full screen playback setting you must set for compurter screen color levels (0-255) if you don't used Avid Nitris HW.

So it is not the C100 problem but an Avid operator problem.

I work in MC6.5 (Symphony 6.5) and C100 works fine.

I know that MC 5.5 and newer versions handles AVCHD just fine with the plugin no worries but using MC 5 with AVCHD is more troublesome. Maybe try mpegstreamclip to convert to DNxHD and then bring it into MC.
