First time lapse and some bokeh shots

Beautiful!
The music, images and editing all come together to create such a strong mood; I find it perhaps a bit more somber than "inspirational", but still beautiful.

What's the music?

Nice time lapse!
Beautiful bokeh!
Awesome uprez!

Love the sloooow push down the sidewalk, followed by the very slight dutch tilt- nice.

Any CC?
Or is the cool color just a result of the rain?

Have fun with interval recording, see if the effect is very different from speeding up video in post.

Chuck

Thank you for the nice comment =)

I almost always do color correcting.
I never do any "live" stuff, so I like to push my images a bit in post.
So yeah, with magic bullet looks in adobe premiere.

The music is by Helios from the album Eingya.

So do you do CC in Premiere in addition to MB, or just MB?
And do you use a template in MB or do your own?

thanks,
Chuck

Ah, well.. I stand corrected.. of course.. but I don't really see it as a "different framrate".
If it shot 50p.. then by all means..
But I also thought you meant going lower than 25p.

With the DVX100a (PAL) that is not possible..

And why would I film 50i for a timelapse?
The lower the fps the better isn't it?

I only shoot 50i when I want slowmotion..
Ok i get you :)...but why 1/25?pliz explain how the shutter speed affects speeding up footage?still a bit lost

Well.. As I have understood, the slower the shutter, the more motion blur you'll get..
and with a timelapse you don't really want a high shutter (meaning every frame is a sharp image).. you sort of want that blur..

But I mean.. I should've had a lower shutter I think.. and interval recording..
I will do it on my next time-lapse :)

ok makes sense now.all in all it still looked really nice..Looking forward to more clips from you

yeah if you have the DVX100A then it has a timelapse recording function. but not for 100B
look around the menu (option,) there should be something called Interval recording.
you can set it to record 3 frames every 5, 10, 15, or 30 seconds if I remember correctly...never done it before tho.
niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice. i'm totally using that this weekend! i did not know about this.
