First real Canon 7D test (time lapse + slowmo)

Hi guys:)

Finally my first real test with this camera.
A small test, but still a test.

Tried out a time lapse as well. Shot 1920x1080 25p for about 13 minutes with the shutter at 1/40 and aperture at f/22.
I really need a ND filter for this.

The rest of the shots are 1280x720 50p, slowed down to 200% (25p).

I found a nice workflow as well. Import and edit a rough cut of the clips in adobe after effects, then export as .avi no compression and then import it into premiere pro.

Worked like a charm :)

Not bad..the colors were a bit to flat for my taste.

Thanks, I can agree with you on the time lapse footage. The lens is not super sharp and it produces images that are hard to color edit.

Any tips on how to shoot in camera, as in settings while shooting?

yow tomas...got the 7d i see. same here. The colours are pretty saturated on my monitor. looks good.

You got a 7D too Tom!! It is so different than the DVX. Nice shots though. I am editing my first test footage tonight. I will post it on Facebook and maybe even on here!

It's different, but in so incredibly many ways, better than the DVX.

Can't wait to see it!
Seriously, send me a message on facebook with it if you can remember to:)
