First day footage

Okay, the file is back up at:

I'm sure the transfer rate will be slow, but it's all I got...enjoy. I'll post some grabs up later so you can see if you want to DL it or not...it's not my living room though, it's stuff shot outside at Thompkins Square Park on a bright day...slow-mo, etc...I think it looks good, but who knows...

Actually, nothing...I think there was something going on with the server when I uploaded the file originally...but I'm glad to hear that it's working well now...

It may also have been that a bunch of people were downloading it at the same time...
 
Large file won't play back for whatever reason.

Keeps saying I need something for Quicktime.

How did you compress it? I have the very latest update for Quicktime player on my Mac g5 Dual.

Anyone know what's up?
 
The large file is a DVCPRO HD 720/24p file...should open straight into quicktime or at least Final Cut Pro...do you have the DVCPRO HD codec installed?
 
Nice shots! (NYC pride in play), but comparing the blocky blue sky unfavorably with, say, filmaddict's graveyard footage...what causes the difference? (it can't all be the web compression...)
 
Dang! Everyoneis talking about how great this footage is, I got all hyped up... and the file is down. :( Could you repost it again for all that missed it? Or even just me?
 
I took the clip down as it was taking up room on my server...I'll see if I can post it back up this week...

If you're tired of the noise, don't look at the files...the time it takes to upload a large file to the server just doesn't fit into my schedule and my server isn't really that fast, so everyone complains about the speed...compressed is all you're gonna get.

I don't have a way to make WMV files, so if someone else wants to once the file is back up, feel free.

myself tired of the noise? from there? there isn't, isn't it?.. where it came from that idea?.. if i'm not asking for the web compressed file.. let me guess: from my nickname suggestion to the baby HVX? but now it's already deleted.. it's not more a danger..
