First day footage

People have been asking for more footage that hasn't been compressed for the web, so here it is...

I'll make a smaller file and upload it tonight...
 
Don't worry rightfrog, that will be also so much appreciated. I'm just speaking for myself but by now -- after so many HVX examples posted all over the place, I think that it justifies larger files with less web compression. Or even with none like it was the case of the excellent posts of Jay Morris (filmaddict). Sometimes, the point is to have time to see them. I've already the download done, Jay and unfortunately I didn't have opportunity to see it. But I will as soon as possible.

My pleasure, I'm shooting more tomorrow, this will be a more controlled indoor shoot with lighting, etc...

I'll put up more uncompressed footage as soon as I get it in the computer...
 
I made the other clip and posted the link in the first post of the thread...hope this is easier for people with slower connections...
 
Rightfrog.. thanks for the footage, but what kind of server do you have. The 300 megs was going to take over a day to download.. LOL.. The 30 megs will take.... who knows?
 
took an hour to download the 30 megs. It seems to send the packets in bursts and not as a sustained download. 30 megs would normally be minutes...


Pretty good footage though.. Thanks for taking the time! Did seem to have some noise from the compression.

Rightfrog! Nice footage. You must live right down the street from me. I recognize all those locations (thompkins, 7B, etc...)

I'd love to check out the cam. I'm on the verge of getting one myself ( I think)

I'm sorry guys...seemed like no one was able to get it...sorry if I interrupted anyone's download. If someone has a server that has good speed and some space, let me know and I'll FTP it to them...

Spiraledit: Yeah, I live on 2nd st and Ave B. PM me and we can hook up, the camera is amazing.

Emanuel: I'll post it up again this afternoon and leave it up for now...I'll post the link again once it's up.

That's exactly what I was referring to; not really the 300 MBs but the transfer rate was absurd.

I'd suggest in the futue folks putting up some nice grabs along with the link so people can decide if its worth the wait ?

You spend 30 minutes DL'ing and it's a shot of their living room in bad light...
