I've been looign to purchase one of the firestore dte recorders. I know the FS-C models work with the XH-A1s, but have also seen the the FS-4 listed as an accessory for the XH-A1 on some sites.

Does anyone know for certain if the FS-4 will work with the XH-A1?

Honestly I think all of their models work with the A1. I have the FS4 Pro and it works like a charm. Only bad thing in my opinion is that it doesn't record in quicktime format.
 
I have the FS-4 HD and it works great with the A1. Although, as Jay said, no quicktime in HD. It records that in m2t format, which looks fantastic in Vegas (maybe other NLEs) but windows wont read it till you transcode it. The FireStore, and the XH A1 make beautiful music together. (errrr video)
 
I thought that the FS-C did the quicktime conversion. I think Elton had it worked out.
