firestore 100 ?????

hi there... question is to save money , can i buy the fire store 100 giga in usa and work it in europe I know for the camera doesn t work because NTSC PAL is it the fiire store same problem?????????? or P2 cards... cause it cost more in here EUROPE

"I don't think that it'll have a problem. PAL & NTSC are just recording formats. P2 and Firestore are recording places. So according to my mind, recording places can not and should not have format limitations. They are just like a flash-disk, cd, dvd, tape..."

I've seen people _NOT_ making this work.

AFAIK the Firestore comes in PAL AND NTSC versions (for some incredibly silly reason, like the camera...)

the US Firestore (ntsc) will not work with a HVX-200E camera, you have to pay the inflated european price, more than twice :furious3:

P2 cards, at least, are now cheaper in Europe than in the US.

And as was mentioned before, there are two distinct versions of the FS-100, one for NTSC, and one for PAL. The P2 cards and Cineporter are (will be) format-agnostic.
