If you run into any issues or problems with the viewing and/or rating system, please post it in this thread. The more information you can provide the easier it will be to track down the problem and resolve it quickly.

We'll monitor this thread for issues and try to resolve them as quickly as we can.

I mentioned it in the Viewing Thread, but this may be the right place. Unless I missed something. Comatose Conundrum is MIA.

Larry fixed both of those films. They are on the list now, and were already in the zips... so, should be good to go on those.

There may be some issues like this with some films on the embedded playback in its current state.

Larry is looking into it. But, in the meantime, if you experience any technical issues with the embedded player, download the original file, and it should be fine. But, please also report it here, so Larry is aware.

Thanks.

When clicking the download link on the main list it seems to download the Fast Start Streaming portion and auto-opens Quicktime, then stops downloading around 5mb.

However, I have succeeded in downloading individual files from their respective pages.

EDIT: Scratch that, it completed but was corrupted. Haven't successfully downloaded a film and the viewer has worked about 15% of the tries.

The embedded version of Will still doesn't have sound...

The downloaded version does have sound. Let's hope people take the time to download it!

@Joshua - interesting, as it's using the same code in both places to trigger a force download of the file. However, I will check the source again to ensure it's pushing the file for download as it should. Thanks for the heads up.

@Kevin - it's actually the same file. As indicated on the viewing page, the streaming system is still a beta system. As such there will be glitches along the way. Unfortunately 'Will' is encoded using an audio codec that our player is unable to process. Downloading and playing locally works fine, but the player does not. I will get it re-encoded, but in the meantime people will need to download the file.

I'm having trouble unzipping 'fiction0001.zip'. I've downloaded it twice now, but get a message 'The compress (zipped) folder is invalid or corrupted' when trying to 'unzip' it.

Thanks.

@Joshua - fixed .. your poster is there now

@Robert - ok, thanks ... I'll check it. In the meantime you might try once more ... there are a couple mirrors, so it could be bad on one and not the other. I'll try to figure out which one is wrong and re-build it.

I have had two failed download attempts on fiction0003.zip It errors in Safari with the message "decompression failed" at around 20mb.

I've tried a number of times and still can't unzip fiction0001.zip. It always comes from dvxfest.day7studios.com if that helps.
