C200: FCPX 10.4.1 Crash when importing XF-AVC Slow Mo files

This might be the same bug that crashes FCP X when trying to import Sony slo mo files. The only answer seems to be to transcode to Pro res.

Okay, so this seems to center around higher frame rate clips in 1080. Anyone try the new XF-AVC UHD 60p, .MP4s to FCP X yet?

Just checked. FCPX has no problem importing 1080 120fps MP4 files.
DaVinci Resolve has no problem ingesting the XF-AVC 120 fps.
Must be a FCPX XF-AVC bug...

FCPX 10.4.2 still crashes when attempting to import XF-AVC slow motion files. RESOLVE provides the workaround (why am I not cutting in Resolve again?)

I’ve shot a bunch of C-300 Mk 2 slo mo , both 60 and between 60 and 120 . I work in FCPX currently 10.4.1 and have had no issues importing /editing files. Maybe you have a preferences issue that got messed up?.

I don't have problems importing C300 Mk II footage in FCPX 10.4.2, specifically slow motion cropped at 120 fps 10 bit 4:2:2 XF-AVC.
However, the C200 XF-AVC (8bit 4:2:0) at 120 fps crashes FCPX.
It's a bug for sure...

Maybe I'm glad I didn't update my firmware on my C200 yet...Although I have only used 120 fps once in 10 months of using the camera.
