Fantastic Panasonic GH2 video

Yes baby, another very good video of the GH2. When I say very good for me, it is not just about the subject etc. because we are having more and more creative and interesting videos on vimeo using the GH2. It is just that the first one on this thread and the second one below tells us a lot on the Gh2 shooting people. The first one had set lighting, indoors and outdoors. But it was overcast and we could not judge the dynamic range and skin tone in contrasty lighting. This video is the last jigsaw in the puzzle and the gh2 fares very well in contrasty lighting. PS. Panasonic should put it lumix engineering division at the place of its video one.
 
SUICIDE, that is GH2 footage how , i have had my GH 2 a week now and try as i do i can only take plain video looking uninspiring footage, what needs doing to get this look or is it all post production ?

Fantastic skin tones, same lighting than the Sony f3 film in London that lots rave about. Does the GH2 pale compared to them, for me the answer is no. More so that it was I would call semi run and gun because he was sometimes also benefiting from the set lighting of the red mx and Alexa shoot out. Apart from some shot that I think where a little overexposed by the shooter but he was run @ gun I think the images are great. What I miss is some sunlite light tp stress the dynamic range, he said he carried a test against the 5d and will publish it in some days. On his french blog he is very enthusiastic about the GH2 and says that panasonic will introduce a fast zoom lense!!!

What a shot this is - great camera and lens. All the fuss over Canon and Nikon. Seems the people who go their own way with the GH series get a fantastic camera.
 
Just ordered one from B&H last night... it's should get here on Friday :)
That was way easier than getting the Af100

I think it is a gh1, it was in the gh2 vimeo group and the guy had many video done with his gh2 just prior to this one, so I thought it was the gh2 :-( I guess they should not be too far off, but I wanted so much to see some shot of people in the contrasty sun to get a definitive idea of the image quality. So no one has some family, friends and the Sun, are the gh2 owners just alone inside there house ;-). It sound stupid but I have been waiting for ages for such a .... normal shot.
 
Here's a video I shot at a state park in FL. Just the 14-140mm kit and the 20mm pancake.


I believe most of the shots are using the Smooth setting at -2,-2,0,0. A lot of the shots were done using the 80% slow frame rec. For color, I mostly cranked up the saturation and crunched the blacks.
