Meet Mark Rivard. He plays "Jay" in the film, the unfortunate side effect of a bad hypnotist
also featuring Frank Christmann as "the Hypnotist" and Sean Bradshaw as "Bubba Sean"

So far we're thinking a comedy, some light hearted fare. If that's the case, I might have to hand over the directing reins to someone else... either that or try my hand at directign comedy and not be so intimidated by the prospect. I know that I tend to lean more towards the darkside.. my sith instincts kicking in, but I'd really like to challenge myself this time and come up with something that is genuinely funny, and not only just darkly funny, if you stop and think about it.

Lots of color and lots of light is the order of the day... hell: maybe I'll even do...(cue dramatic music here)...A MUSICAL!

Maybe... maybe...

Well, I am not sure yet. But I don't think so. I want to concentrate on some paying jobs now and at the beginning of the year I have to study for exams that I have to write in February. Gotta finish my diploma in electrical engineering.

Oh damn. real life calls. That's one call that's impossible to ignore. Good luck with that man, but I'm sure you'll be keeping an eye on the proceedings.

By the end of February you;re not going to be able to resist the call... the call of the fest! Muhahahahahahahaa.

Seriously though: good luck on the exams.

irony of ironies: i just lost my harddrive partition where all of my music is kept. I'm doing a file recovery on it, but in the meantime I have no music to write to.

I'm at a loss...

Okay brainstorming is beginning to hurt. Lots of good ideas but trying to avoid the low hanging fruit like memory loss, death or relationships. That just leaves from for a lot of headaches and us trying to think from different angles and making a story out of it... or at least seeing what's so interesting about it...

Brainstorming continue...

Big question!!!! I think we (Jason and I) will start writing a script (seperately) and then we will see if there is money left for a film, because we don't have a video camera and have to rent the whole stuff. I am not sure about an entry, also because there are some other things to do at the moment. We will see!

Susanne

thanks suzanne! will you be entering as well?

Okay working on 2 main concepts right now and then we're going to hash out the details, but we've definitely settled on a couple of really nice ideas that takes a different look at loss.

I'm still thinking MUSICAL but nobody else is feeling it. I personally think that they just dont want to write the songs.
