Yes, I am getting to f8 outdoors in sunlight with great results and even f11 without terribly objectionable grain. Just need to zoom in a bit to reduce some vignetting.

Low light performance has been fabulous but focusing on a tiny screen with such razor thin DOF, even with peaking and focus-assist has proven challenging; definitely need an external monitor.

The 'oily' smear as Phil Bloom describes it, only happens wide-open and even then I've only been able to reproduce it in contrasty conditions with bright, sharp sources of light behind the subject. Stopping down reduces/eliminates it.

Very little CA, and again, I only see it slightly in very high contrast conditions.

I've cleared my weekend to test shoot as much as possible before using it on a couple of projects but I'm 'extremely' happy with it during the little time I've had it so far.

I'd like to congratulate the Le's for producing an awesome product and I'm thrilled to see 35mm adapter vendors are pushing the technology bars higher and higher for us to enjoy and profit from.

I'd also like to thank DeGrey/Aaron/LetusDirect for his excellent customer service and communication throughout.

Now if we could only have as many people trying to work on a cheaper HD LCD monitor solution that'd be great :P I can't afford one of those for the life of me now with the house mortgage :( Anyone need a kidney?...I'm O positive :P
 
Like koli and leo,at wide open om my 85mm there is a little smear as phillip mention but closed down just a touch it becomes a non issue and as a matter of fact on my canon a1 with the extreme even at wide open it's noting to be concerned about.I've owned the m2 and sgpro which i sold a week after i recieved it in favor of the letus product and let me tell you,after playing with the extreme this one will not be in the market place anytime soon.Absolutely no vignetting and razor sharp edge to edge.footage coming soon.
 
I'm glad I'm not the only one seeing that. It only took me going from 1.8 to 2 on the Nikon 50mm to snap the smear away. And at that, it wasn't even bothering me at 1.8. I'd like to think it's a rare occasion that people use their lenses wide open.
 
Woo-hoo! My extreme has shipped! (Ordered Oct. 3rd)...Can't wait to get my hands on it! Thanks to Aaron at LetusDirect for putting up with my e-mails every other day asking for an update ;)

Received my Extreme. The next day, my HVX went down on a shoot. Now I have to take in my HVX for repairs on Monday while my poor virgin Letus Extreme sits here waiting ;-(

I haven't even used it yet!

Frustrated!

man, when is this thing going to arrive? its been in canada since the 2nd of november...

the lenses i ordered through ebay arrived sooner than the adapter which were ordered much later!! damn.. :( frustrations this week.

When did you order yopur LEX? I'm trying to somewhat gauge when I might e seeing mine. I'm sure you ordered before me, my order was placed on october 12th.
 
mine was late september 26th, still waiting. not sure what usps is doing... but it should have arrived early this week, but the details on the shipping and tracking havent budged since the 2nd, when it arrived in canada.....

I ordered mine on Oct 5 .. it came FedEx today :)
