I just received an e-mail from Hien:

Quote: "It will be shipped out either Monday or Tuesday next week."

I ordered on September 27th and my order number is 241

They have to be swamped with emails. Alright, so it won't be this week or maybe the other orders go out next week. At least it's almost here...
 
I have no idea what my order no is but I placed mine on the 29th. I think I better get the rails now :evil:

I haven't received any email though

How did you find out what number you were? I ordered right around September 27th also but I just talked to Quyen and he verified that they received my payment.

Hopefully mine is coming soon as well!

I ordered 11am (EST) on the 24th of Sept. and only received a letter in the mail saying I should be getting it soon (if I haven't already). I haven't already. Hopefully I'll get a tracking number soon. I have a shoot I was hoping to try it out on the 24th of this month. We'll see.

The number is actually on the email that was sent out. Should be in the subject line or close to it.
 
People are referring to their order receipt numbers. Numbers from AdapterPlace.com are 3 digit numbers. Orders from LetusDirect.com are 5 digit numbers. In either case, as Kholi said, the number will be in your email receipt from the respective site you purchased from.

If you ordered from LetusDirect, just shoot me a PM or email if you want an update.

i never received such an e-mail but im not worried, Degrey has been ontop of every question of mine and answers within minutes!

i ordered mine on the 24th, so i imagine mine will go out around the same time. w0000 excited. plus i just won a 24mm 2.0 nikon lens for 250 on ebay!

Hmm...I never did receive a receipt. But I did get a response from Quyen saying my check had been received and the order was in progress. Good enough for me, I guess.

looks like you need to look around at prices for lenses my friend. 250 for a 24mm F2 is cheap.

Alrighty then!!! Maybe I don't understand but I just bought a 200mm canon fd for about $25 on KEH.com. I'm sure the 24mm is great and better build and all but it's such a wide lens that I don't know I would shell out that much dough for it. Sorry to get off topic. Accept my apologies!

My sharpness is actually pretty good. There is some slight fringing that happens at the edge of the frame and the sharpness could be a bit sharper at the edges, but I was actually very pleased with how sharp it appears especially for a 24mm lens (I have the M2 too, but I was getting too much edge softness for my tastes). I also ordered the Letus Extreme so we'll see what that can deliver.

And it's true about the cost of lenses. I've spent almost $3000 on lenses (10 total), so that averages to about $300 each. Of course these lenses are some of the fastest Nikons out there (the 85mm 1.4 cost over $500 by itself). But you get what you pay for. I'm now fortunate that my extensive equipment is earning money by itself :)

I'm wondering if by then there will be some blood on my adapter from the hours getting these things assembled ;)

Looking forward to it - Hien and Quyen have hit a gold mine.
