Express Card slot and P2?

Indeed it is an EC device, but when I installed the P2 card in another laptop w/ a PCMCIA slot, the driver offered not only a driver for the HVX200, but one for the PCMCIA slot. This option is not available when I try to install on this laptop.

Do you guys just plug and play your cards? Or did you need to install the driver. If so, which driver did you choose?

Thanks!

Problem fixed:

Select search location on driver install (windows)
C:\Program Files\Panasonic P2\Drivers\Card

Then it installs and sees everything. It wouldn't do it automatically but once you give it a hint, its happy.

Thanks again for your help.

It's not supposed to need drivers to my knowledge. And this is an EC device, not a PCMCIA device
The adapter doesn't require drivers on a PC, but you must still install Panasonic's P2 drivers in order to be able to recognize the cards once inserted into the adapter.

I got my HP laptop thinking that I had the PCMCIA hook up but when I tried putting my P2 card in it, I found out that it was set up for the express card.

Has anyone use one of those two (addonic/dual) on a HP laptop? Which one should I go with to make it work best? Thanks
