Experimental. Please Watch

Nice work man. I got some questions?

How did you make it seem like the camera hit the ground so hard, and how did you get the effect where it switches back and forth and skips?

that was very cool. like cloverfield meets 28 days later.
yeah the camera hitting the ground was awesome. i had to go frame by frame to see how it was done and i still dont know. i hope it was done.

awesome work. loved the sounds coming from the woods and the sound at the very end. also liked the jumps back to the scenes inside the house, very cloverfield-ish but worked really well.

hope you didn't break your camera shooting this.

I did scratch the bottom up a bit. Thats it though. I had my hand under the camera most of the time so it didn't damage.

I used Video Copilot's Twitch plugin to create most of the effects with the channel displacing and such.

Great work.
I thought you were really just walking around and then it came......haha
you have such a cool style. can't wait to see more of your work.

Dude you r a genius you definitely need to work on your own feature like 2 years ago. But seriously you're making me not wanna get a better hvx or a better camera and just ship all my dvx footage to you for color grading, keep up the good work

Nice, but the vertigo in your shots were like blair witch to the power of 2.

Besides the shake, the editing, color and sound was top notch,

Keep up the good work,

Manny

Even used some John Murphy. Nice. Nice work. This was very interesting. I think it could benefit from a little more tension/build up prior to finding the presumably diseased man. Perhaps the main character could discover something similar elsewhere before the main event. Otherwise he is afraid for no reason. But still, for just toying around and "experimenting", this is really cool. Good job!

I thought that was amazing! And I had a question for any FCP-users out there: is this type of color grading achievable on FCP (or Apple Color I guess)? Because I simple love the color-correction you have on your videos! And I've been looking into getting Final Cut Studio, (PrPro doesn't really appeal to me)...so I was just wondering if FCP can achieve this look.
