FEATURE: Epitaph: Bread and Salt Feature film

Yes, the actors are awesome! I'm hoping for it to be finished by the end of summer 2012.

Yep. I cut out some scenes and added new ones that where more closely related to the comic book, so I got a few new actors to pull it off.

So we are nearing the end with only a few more scenes to go, most of them fight scenes. I have put together tentative members for the Bleeder Kings vampire pack: Shavar D. Clark, Andy Schatner and Yvonne Nieves.

Until then I will be getting ready for Wizard World Chicago 2012 then back to Epitaph. Hopefully you will join me and Taryn Baker at our table. I will have copies of the Epitaph comics and Taryn will be drawing some cool art stuff.

Currently I am getting back into demon hunting shape:

I have to buy a new one. That one broke. But eBay has a few that look pretty sweet and are the same length. Come to think of it he doesn't get it back until the comic book so I don't know if I'm going to do anything more with it. It's not even his. He took it from a vampire and then he left it behind.

End of the year, but I have a 30 minute preview ready for Wizard World when you buy the comics.

Images from the fight scene we did this month:

When I asked Roger Deakins how he lit the night scenes, in "In Time"(2011), in the industrial section of downtown LA, which has minimal, and yellow sodium lighting... he replied that they brought in big lights.. and they were gelled to 'yellowish' to match the sodium lights one expect to see these days...

Obviously for the Nolo Budget film... one has to live with the existing lighting as it is... but were it me... I'd shift the image a bit to the 'yellow' if possible, for some reason the amber looks 'really muddy'...

I'm matching color in post. I'm going to match it with another night scene, that we shot downtown with a 50mm.

Looks like things are going well man! Keep it up!

So far so good. Just hoping I can be finished with it soon. Love the project, but it's really taking too long.
