I don't see it as begging. They just need to know what you want and that enough people want it. Thats how the 5d MkII got the firmware update. The massive amount of people demanding it. If you don't tell them you need it then why should they bother taking the time to do it. They'll just think it isn't necessary. They don't charge for these updates.
Tim Smith by the way gave an interview last year, its on youtube somewhere, saying that the 5d would never get 24p but enough people pushed to make it happen.
If there isn't a demand for agc disable, audio meters, histogram in liveview, zebras, they won't bother.
You sure about that? This is what it says:Nevermind I googled it... Not intended for the 1.1.0 People... its to Fix issues in the 1.2.0 people who purchased the Camera this way.... Few!.. i was like I missed 1.2.0/// No!! but i dint.
You sure about that? This is what it says:
Firmware Version 1.2.1 is for cameras with firmware up to version 1.2.0. If the camera's firmware is already version 1.2.1, it is not necessary to update the firmware.
Note that cameras with firmware Version 1.2.1, 1.2.0 cannot be downgraded to a previous firmware version (such as Version 1.1.0).
I upgraded from 1.1.0 myself. If I sell the camera I'll advertise it as having the latest firmware.
so can people upgrade the from the 1.1.0 to 1.2.1? I saw a post where the noise at higher ISO is alot Cleaner with the new verision.. People are Claiming that the High ISo noise reduction moved over to the Video side as well as oposed to just being there for pictures.. If so I want to upgrade!
It's really just another placebo effect.I don't think this is true...I posted some screens from 1.0.8 and 1.2.1 using High ISO noise reduction in a thread and I don't see a differance
