The cp.2 lenses have manual aperture... i just havent seen a f3 to ef dumb mount
I've also worked with the CP.2 in EOS mount on 7D cameras. There is a bit of twisting play in the EOS mount (due to locking pin design) which caused image shift on fast focus pulls.

Is the nature of the EOS mount on the Canon body. Maybe not an issue with a aftermarket EOS adapter for the F3. For example, my Birger / Red one adapter is tight enough that the lens does not rotate user normal use. But listen to Jacek, I'm a customer and the referenced moron with a screwdriver. Keep the CP.2 in PL mount, install shorter PL mounts on the lenses and buy a PL adapter for the Canon bodies.THAT is a huge cause for concern which I was unaware of. Are you sure their is play in a native EOS mount for these lenses? If so, a few phone calls to Zeiss are well warranted at those price points.
