E-mount FS700II 4K camcorder?

are the officials specs of the camera anywhere to be found...is it 4k 60fps only...and btw the convergent design has just announced it will delivering the prores 4k feature for sony fs700 by the end of the month...is this a great and amazing day or what?
 
Looks a brilliant camera, now looking to see how to trade my FS700. Only one downside is it doesn't take the L series battery, which is a shame from a personal perspective in as much as I have loads of them, but apart from that the camera has everything I'm looking for. 180fps is good enough!

As far as I know, there's no "real" FF video camera, but now four S35 e-mount video cameras (FS100,FS700,EA-50, FS7). The 28-135 will
start with approx. 42mm FOV (35mm compared) - much to long if you ask me...

There's still a huge demand for a proper and payable S35 cine-style zoom lens . I'm waiting for 2 years now!
I tried the Canon EF17-55 and the 24-105L on speedbooster, which are okay but far from perfect.

Hmm might have to go for this new camera. So it seems the only thing the FS700+7Q has on this camera is buffered 120fps 4K and 240fps 2K (unclear if 7Q is even going to support those in ProRes and DNG is ridiculous) but this camera would eliminate power problems and highlight artifacting and give a lot more manageable recording options and mean I always have 4K even if I don't have a 7Q anymore. One big thing may be LUTs, no word yet on whether this camera will support LUTs internally like the F5/F55 do. The 7Q is supposedly getting LUTs, but who knows if and when.
 
I've got to wonder how tough it is to focus with that screen. I might consider swapping the FS700/7Q for this because that combo is becoming a bit cumbersome. Except i love the 7Q so much as a monitor with all those focus and exposure tools.

Oh interesting I must have missed that. I thought I read it was $8k body, $10k with the XDCA adapter but that may have been just an older rumor.

I don't think it'd be good to put a 19W camera on L batteries anyway. That is one sad thing about this camera, it has twice the power consumption of a FS700 so it'll need twice the weight in batteries. On the other hand, the BP-U batteries always seemed a bit better suited for a camera like this anyway.
 
So correct me if I'm wrong but it has:
hdmi 2.0 and 2 sdi outputs from the camera directly?
but you still need the add on to output raw..?
That alone would bug me out..
 
For me, the 7Q would still be useful as an external recorder in conjunction with this camera as well as (another) client monitor. Not sure there would be a great deal of resale value for the FS700 with the advent of this 'in no way a replacement for the FS700' (really?) new camera. Maybe a new purchase next year. Still hoping for news on firmware update for FS700 today - lens support and wouldn't SLog3 be nice (unlikely I know).
