Broadway Photo has it advertised for $399.00 and says it comes with a US Warranty.

Oh ya, I got the whole package.
DVX200 plus Panasonics new HD lens (converts DV to full res Hi-Def) Cost an extra $1500 but well worth it!
Would have been silly not to get the lifetime warranty for the extra $1000
Of course they tried to “up sell” me on a bag and tapes … Please, like I was born yesterday…

Funny stuff, though for me I couldn't care less what Panasonic comes out with, wouldn't damper my spirits at all. I GOT AN XL2 ! Until Panasonic has interchangeable lenses, a black and white CRT, oh ... and looks like an XL2, you can have it. They've only had one thing on Canon, 24p, and those days are gone. And even when they had it, my 30p stuff still looked amazing. I wouldn't have traded my one XL1s for two DVX100s even if ya bought me ice cream.
Still a good gag though.
