DVX100B Beach Footage HD !

[Pocusproductions]

Hello,

I decided to take a drive along York Beach in Maine on Thanksgiving day and shoot some of the beach. Uprezzed to 720p HD. Shot with a DVX100B, some tweaked scene file settings, but no color correction. Location sound caught with shotgun mic mounted on cam. Let me know what you think! Thanks!

Nice, and a pretty darn good job at the uprez too, what software was used to do this?

[Pocusproductions]

Thanks. I used premiere and output as 720p 24p WMV HD.

Could you share your workflow for the uprez?

Very impressive for the DVX

How do you go about uprezzing to 720p?

[blackdogs377]

you export your video at 1280x720 instead of 640x480 or whatever.

does anybody know can fcp uprezz to 720p too

[bri]

yes I believe you just export using the 720p setting on the quicktime tab, or run it through compressor (i do it for anamorphic squeeze stuff) and it turns quite out nicely
