Im starting a collection of some of my favorite dvx stills I have captured. Here are some of them:

All shot with DVX, no adapter. Color corrected in Final Cut. The yellow car was done in After Effects.

What exactly is that? making the images larger?

I have a double monitor, and when i hit f12 in final cut, all my footage goes full screen on the second moniter. Then on my mac, i hit shift-apple-3 and took the picture there. There are still pretty good quality for being so big!
 
That looks pretty good.

So you were workin in plain DV then you screenshot it in full screen with FCP?

If so, that looks pretty damn good.

People really underestimate the quality of the DVX.
 
Ya, JR, what do you mean? The first one is in focus well. and I can see what your talking about on the second.

Did you capture these as stills from your DVX, or are they frame grabs?

If they're frame grabs the footage belongs in your reel.
 
Robbie, Pics one and two have a soft focus look around the edges almost like a vignette, how did you achieve that?
