DVX gear on HVX?

Hello all,

I'm about to sell off my DVX package, but was wondering if there is a way to tell from the specs or from anybody that's seen an HVX up close as to wether or not I should keep my Century Optics Cine-style focus gear to use on the HVX? Is the barrel on the HVX bigger? Does anybody really know?

The lens barrel is larger, and the filter size is larger.

Thanks Jan. One more thing to add to the list of things to buy over again. My wife may kick me out of the house this time. Things are adding up quickly.

You might just need a new size ring for the follow focus. That way you could keep the rest of the set up and save some money. But I don't know that, you would have to check with manifacturer.

Thanks Oliver, but the unit that I have is the gear that goes over the barrel that works with the follow focus, which is a whole other mess. I don't think they make them anymore, but don't anybody buy a Focallizzare (spelling?) follow focus. Mine is no better than a paper weight.
