Sorry if this was already posted somewhere, but can anyone gimme a pretty good comparison between the two??

Biggest difference would be the fact that the 100 doesn't have squeeze mode (16:9) and the 100B does. That difference is the same when you compare the 100 and the 100A. In other words: the DVX100 ('original') lacks that function.

All the other differences are of lesser influence (more user-buttons to assign presets to, nicer menu's, etc.) to the newborn DVXuser who bought a DVX100 (that would be me, 6 months ago, haha).

I've actually owned all 3 models, and the DVX100B is the best by far. The most annoying thing about the DVX100A was the sound delay, which wasn't on the original DVX100. Go figure.
 
The E model is basicly the original DVX100, but the PAL model. Doesn't do 24p or 24pA. Just i50 and 25p. (I own that camera.) You'd still miss the sqeeze mode 16:9 on that one.
 
oh i wasnt aware of that, The 100 E is the camera i use,

yea, the letterbox function isnt great so i have made markers on the viewfinder so i can always frame with space for widescreen in post
