Hmm, I agree partially with everyone here. I think dvinfo en dvxuser are both great forums, in a different way. dvinfo is more strict, dvx more wild/informal. I like both as alternatives. On dvinfo information is usually more condensed as they prefer that over there. Nice when you're trying to search for something (talking about search, I HATE the search function on dvxuser, you always have to wait 60 sec in between searches and cannot search for words too short or too common).
On dvxuser the community is more indie-film based, and on dvinfo there are also a lot of wedding-, nature- and docushooters. It is true they are a bit uptight about their sponsors, but that is where their money comes from so as long as you read through the lines (and don't post other companies) you're fine.
And lastly, their alternative imaging forum is unique in it's kind in the world if you're into that stuff.
But dvxuser is funnier though, you have the competitions, the relaxed atmosphere, lots and lots of grabs and footage to get inspired by, etc. Oh and I can post all sorts of crap here without having to sign with my real name under it!
