DVCPRO HD codec

I am about to begin work on a project that will be edited on an Apple (Final Cut Pro), and there will be visual effects work done on some shots on a PC with After Effects.

I was originally planning on capturing the shots onto FCP and then exporting with the DVCPRO HD coded and sending the files to my VFX man. However, I just discovered that Apple's DVCPRO codec doesn't work with Windows systems.

What is the best way I can get my footage over to the visual effects people? If I exported from FCP and used a different compressor like Uncompressed 8-bit 4:2:2 would that open up on a windows system?

Any help would be VERY much appreciated.

Yes you could even set up a batch to run in Compressor of all of your footage. That said I'd check with the VFX guys as to which format they prefer. Typically a TIF or TGA image sequence is the most universal VFX exchange format and either can be made with Compressor.
