dump from P2 store

dump o anything. I am on an expedition in the mountains and I cant take a laptop with me after the basecamp. I will use 2 8GB cards and the P2 store.
I am just looking for a solution to unload the P2 store to an external device so that I can film more than the 74 min.
I have tried it with an USB On the Go device but the P2store is not going into USB mode so it´s not working.
I just wantto know if there is a way to unload the P2 store without a laptop.
 
Yeah you can dump streight to a powered ( battrie powered not usb powered ) extrenal hard drive... problem is you cant see your data till you get back to base camp...

You can get them on ebay....
 
thanx freudenberg for your posting but this is not working because the P2 store is not switching into USB mode. This works with the camera because you can tell the camera to switch to USB device mode or to 1394 Host mode.
But I can´t tell this to the P2 store.
Have you tried this?
 
You could do it from the P2 Store by using a USB On-The-Go device, but be prepared for it to take a couple of hours to copy all the contents off the P2 Store.
 
thanx barry, but I have already tried a USB OTG device, not successfully.
the P2 store was not switching to USB mode.
I was using an adapter because I don`t have the right cable, do you think this could be the reason?
 
Is the P2 Store in PC or Mac mode? You may want to try switching it to the other mode prior to trying the OTG drive.

Can you shot at 720p/24pn?
P2 Store + 2 8gig cards will provide up to 180 minutes.
Additional cost = zero.
