dowtown richmond sunrise

i woke up at the butt crack of dawn...5:30. and i went dowtown to film the sunrise for my short film. i think these shots are beautiful. the colors the dvx can get when the lighting is right are just epic. i dont care if they look super saturated, they still look amazing.

this was all in cam except i added a blue tint to the skyline shots to balance out the orange/yellow i had going on.

Richmond, VA is currently ranked as the 5th most dangerous place to live right now in the U.S.

Not that this is something to be stoked about.

Where do you live rapman?
 
A few of those shots were taken down the street from my house.

You should also check out the skyline view from the observation deck above the Manchester bridge at twilight. Good stuff, but take a grad with ya.

Must be ranked just below Richmond Ca.
 
lol, funny thing is richmond california is also ghetto and dangerous. About to watch the footage.
