just the regular kit lens (on the steadicam shot) and then the 20mm 1.7 pancake on the super lowlight club shot.

And I'm sorry I won't mention my superior godly blessed magical super enhanced spy sensor GH13 anymore. ;)

I am here to list an advantage of the GH13 I just remembered - the ability to shoot 720P30 in 422 colour space, for green-screen/ chroma-keying work.

That's cool.

As far as I understood it, the 60p is reduced to 30p, meaning double the colour precision is possible: 4:2:2

What doubt is there about this and from where? Do you have a link to a discussion/ test?
 
I love our GH2, but I'm really missing the high bit-rate 720 we could get from out GH13. We had a GH13 with very bad banding problems btw, so I'm thinking about trying to find a new(ish) one. Multiple bodies, man... like the old days of journalism... we're already out most of the time with our GH2 and 5d... so may also add a GH13 again.

I've access to the AF100 and I'll use it for some shoots but I've opted to shoot all of a recent project with the Gh2 for it's functionality, covert nature and just the simplicity of the thing... The AF100 is a beast of a camera and very much like the HVX in terms of weight and handling... I do like the viewfinder and the LCD but there's a whole heaping load of stuff to consider when shooting... That caveat is that this will be a camera for some jobs and not for others.. ON this recent project I'd have been busted the first day whipping out any videocamera... but with a still camera, I'm looking like a tourist.. I even have black socks, sandals and a flowery shirt that I wear... Sure, I look like a dork but it gets me in and out of places that a normal camera wouldn't be able too...

The one thing that I will share on both cameras is the voigtlander.. That lens is worth a million bucks.

The GH1, GF1, and G2 can be patched to record MJPEG videos in 422 color depth at the standard 30fps. This packs about 30% more video data into each horizontal line, and the bitrate increases accordingly.
 
Is there really an advantage to that lp? I have toyed with mjpeg and seen others videos and it has never looked as good as the avchd videos to my eyes.
