Does it come in black?

I was hoping it would be red, but I guess I'm missing the picture. :) Black magnesium would be worth a bit more money.
 
Powder coating is a great idea. For both the beautiful finish and how durable it is if it is applied properly. I imagine a brilliant red color or black.

It seems to me there should be plenty of those available, since it uses either 16mm or 35mm cine lenses... Or did I miss electronic sarcasm again?

Yeah, I think you missed it. It's a reference to the article that was posted awhile ago discussing the line of HD cameras on the night time drama "24" and how they hold up. The complaint the Keifer Sutherland gave was that they were too small and he couldn't perform to it without a matte box. Once you understand the reference, it was pretty hilarious...there in lies the rub!
 
Hey, the Red site has the countdown up again? Are they only opening the site while NAB is up and running?
 
I vote for a red finish as well.. or perhaps more of a 2 tone combo like you see on most cell phones today. With a name like red, you gotta work it.
