Is this going to every purchaser of a 250, or just directly from you?

If to every purchaser, then will there be a process for early buyers?

thanks

Every USA buyer will get a free copy of it, if they send in the coupon that was included in the box. Every HPX250 sold in the USA has included a redemption coupon in the box, so fill that out and send it in; it's already pre-stamped and everything...

what about the rest of the world, in my case europe, how do we get your book barry and how much is it to purchase, no coupon included in the european box? looking forward to have the 250 book anyway when i buy the cam! Is the book already available? jean

Head's up on locating the card.

It is underneath everything. Not in the plastic bag with the HPX250 printed manual and CD, but underneath the cardboard separator in the accessories box.

Also note that the card requires the serial number, which is located on the right side of the cam just under the handle, not under the viewfinder as the post card suggests.

Sent mine in today, and hope to see the manual soon.

Yes, and the new version with the HPX250 in it now covers both the HPX250 and the HPX170. The "HVX & HPX Book" is the older one, it covered the HVX200/200A and the HPX170 only. The new book removes the HVX200 and incorporates the HPX250, and it is the biggest book I've ever done.

The older "HVX & HPX Book" will be discontinued when current inventories are exhausted, and going forward the new "The HPX Book" will be the only version for P2 handheld cameras.

Yours is on the way, David. Pretty much all of them have now been sent out, and the remainder will go out the first shipping day in January.

Gonna have wait until my next transatlantic hop as the cost by the time you add all of the additional things i.e. Sales Tax, postage, handling fees etc make the cost prohibitive.

Pity theres no downloadable PDF or some such but I guess that would be a 'pirates' dream.

Most of my books are carried by Holdan in Europe. They may also be carrying this one; if that's the case you'll find it throughout England and 300+ stores in Europe. That hasn't been decided yet, that remains to be seen.
