While I liked this I found the follow shots too bumpy/shaky. Not sure if it was steadicam or just handheld? There is some jarring shake going on. Like at 1:02 and 1:13.
It also seemed too long. In the end I'm not even sure what's going on? As an intro to a longer piece I'm sure that's not an issue but I was getting bored with it. I just didn't get the sense of urgency? Maybe it's the music.
The rest of it looks very professional and polished. Nothing wrong with the look of it at all.
The SFX look nice as well. I just need more to keep me interested.

Too long? Why? I followed the whole thing through and it got my thoughts racing during the whole trailer. In fact my only criticism is to remember fire is a light source so on those fire scenes if you can't change it right now I'd simply cut away quicker. I would cut out the cop scene because one single cop wouldn't come to a protest like that, they'd send more. Beyond that I was thinking about the situation as wonder why would the president be doing this. My only hope is that the concept is strong enough because this really got me wondering. I'm known for telling people to shorten things but this is fine. Great job at sucking people in. I was impressed with the level of quality here. Great poster by the way.

Hey thanks for commenting. The whole cop thing was also done to show how he could not call for backup. Also it's interesting to hear thoughts that it was too few people and some too many people for one cop. Hard to find that balance.
When you say light source, are you saying it was too dark from where the first was? thanks again for watching!

well that's easily explained by the fact that yes it's too few people protesting something that is 'world wide' and of epic scale proportions but on the other hand if you ARE going to be showing cops then 1 cop is obviously too few for a protest even if the protest is only a dozen people. However if that is part of the storyline that the cop is unable to call for backup due to all electronics being fried then that's fine and is a viable reason

the production value was top notch and the concept was eerie. out of all the forms the government can implement martial law I completely overlooked the concept of the Kill Switch. awesome. best.
