Hey guys. I recently purchased a few Canon Fd lens (50mm, 28mm, 35mm). I want to get some ND filters for them, but I can't seem to find the size the ND filter should be? Any ideas where to find this information?
 
but i should add that it may be wise for you to get 62mm filters that fit your stock lens, and buy a cheap step ring to adapt to fd's 55mm size. i just got my step ring in the mail today. works great!
 
Ah ha, it does say so on the inside of the cap, thanks guys! 2 were 55, 1 was 52...

So it is better to get the 62mm and get step ups? By the way, does the 62mm fit the camera body or on a lens?
 
The kit lens accepts 62mm filters on the front end, if that's what you're asking. The other end of the lens is a micro 4/3 mount.

And, yes, stepup rings are a good idea. That way you save money on filters.
 
I'm still a little confused, sorry. But, I want to put ND's on my Canon lens, I already have one for the kit lens. So do I buy a ND filter that fits the 52 and a step up ring to the 55's?
