Truth #1 about high school from real life: Highschool counts for NOTHING. Get your diploma and get out. What you did in HS, especially all those "dumb high school things" mean nothing at all. If you go back a year later, some teachers will remember you, but that's it. Senior pranks, etc.. totally fergotten by all but those few of yoru pears who remeber them. 3 years later once they are gone, no one will remeber any of it. They just arn't worth it.

Your detention day freaks me out.

Only because if you were dressed in a shiny pink jump suit and the Schwarzenegger guy was carrying a laser blaster, you've just described my entire Sci-Fest entry.

In your version, does the Schwarzenegger guy come back about a week later and vaporize you? If so, I've gotta do some re-shoots for my entry.
 
Ahh detention. I spent many hours there as a rebellious youth. I had trouble with authority. I was written up for "soliciting insurrection" in a class. :)
 
I'm never stubborn..unless it really really calls for it on a certain topic..i just have bad luck with timing wen having to be somewhere and something happens.


Today wen i went back to school..i came in 5 seconds after the bell..litereally i counted...and she llooked at me with a dirty look and was like..YOUR LATE DBOZ!! I'm like...IT WAS 5 SECONDS! CUT ME A BREAK PLEASE I JUS SERVED 2 HOURS OF MY LIFE AND GOT MY STUFF TAKEN AWAY BECAUSE OF YOU!!
She jus looked at me and didnt say anything...i think it was cuz i got really close to her and shes like 5'3 and im like 6'2..so i think she was intimidated. THen i go sit down.

Then the Schwarzenteacher comes to me in the middle of class while we're watching a movie about Jefferson..hes like...I know what you did...im like...wat??..hes like...the glue..in the door...it had to be you. I was like...nooooooooooooooo. And then he walks away...i got madd nervous! lol

He knew it was me..cuz he was smiling when he said it...so he probably knows...but he didnt anything about it which is relaly weird becuase he hates me. So hopefully tomorrow I wont get called into the Deans office for another detention.

Personally, I dislike several people at my school. And, there have been several opportunities where I could snitch on their property defacing. I haven't and never will, as long as it can't potentially hurt someone. The way I look at it is this. They're all stupid high school morons, and so am I. It's not my place to get off at them for their immaturity and lack of self-control. I don't seat myself on some high throne because I "think" I'm better than they are. Besides, karma is going to bite them in the behind sooner or later anyway. Do I really need to make the avalanche worse than it already is?

Vengeance is a waste of time. It's sad that people can squandor an entire lifetime on wild chases (wave to Ahab). Why hold a grudge for even one second of your life? Just get over it. Have faith in the system. Violence never remedies violence. Don't try to be a 3-second hero when you know you're never going to overpower the bully. Mediate, call attention to the dispute, outsmart the bully. At the very least, teach your friend about stoicism.

I know most people won't share my viewpoints. They probably sound naive and idealist to folks. "You haven't lived in the real world long enough to understand what you're talking about". I haven't.

But, up to this point, it seems to have worked out for me. At school, at my job, at the deathbed of a good friend, and at 2:00 AM on Saturday Morning, surrounded by drunks and guys just about to rape each other. It seems to work.

And it was all stolen from old senile people philosophizing.

As far as your little skirmishes, you're damn lucky that the school hasn't had you put into alternative school and pressed criminal charges against your parents. Maybe you'd be better under constant behavorial supervision.

Actually, getting into the real world, you'll find that what you said is by far the more productive way of going about life. Good things to learn early.

Hey Blackhawk - everyone's right. A few years out of highschool and you'll realize none of this stuff matters. That teacher will be in the same place she is now,
and she'll just be dealing wiht a 'new blackhawk'

Concentrate on your own stuff - and sluff off the crap.
It's not worth the time or the energy you wind up wasting on it.

2 Hours - you could have working on a Sci Fi entry!

haha, you seem a bit hot-headed, yelling at teachers and such.
that's ok i guess, it would be entertaining to the rest of the class.
not something i'd do though, I just admit defeat, and they usually back off.

just don't turn into one of those dudes with trenchcoats and guns shooting up the school.

There were three guys I went to school with who were pains in the butt, and were forever picking on me. Etc.

The first one is dead.

The second one is paralyzed from the neck down.

The third is a used car salesman.

And I didn't have to do a damned thing.
