I know this is in the wrong place, but I'm desperate to get it read today!!

Can someone PLEASE help me with DVD STUDIO PRO 4.1.2!!

Why does the video play in DVD STUDIO 4:3 when it's a 16:9 video.. It plays 16:9 after it's burned and played on my 16:9 HDTV, BUT when it's played on my 4:3 TV it will not letterbox?!?! It's driving me nuts! I gotta send this movie out to a distributor!!

Every single thing is set to 16:9 in the prefs, and in the view mode.. I have a dissolve fade when you start to watch, and it dissolves into the movie playing 16:9 for a split second, then it goes away!!

If you can help with that, PLEASE tell me how to take my 16:9 project, and burn a DVD that will play on 16:9 TV's and 4:3 TVS (letterboxed)

In the simulate window, theres a drop down menu, that you can change the display mode from 4:3 to PS 4:3 to LB 16:9 along with HD and NON HD settings for simulatiing the disc

It is set like this.. I got it to work in TOAST, and the DVD even looks better.. Oh well, whatever! I'll call theboys at DVD STUDIO, and let them figure it out..
 
Have you made sure that the track is set to play 16:9 letterbox on it's general tab. that will tell anamorphic video to play as 16:9 and letterbox on 4:3 sets. If you had a transition in there and your menu was 16:9 then the build would use that as the frame dimensions as that's what it started with. - Might be what you're seeing.
