Demo Reel 07' 08'

I thought it looked great, I loved the lifestyle stuff - especially the double of the guy waking up around :32. Made me feel groggy and all as if I had just got up as well.

I also really liked the cycling sequences as well.

I wasn't too keen on the clouds - they seemed a bit out of place to me and I really wanted to see what he was writing on the note - you tube didn't allow for it at first watch (Pausing and enlarging I can see.)

Your reel was very crisp and sharp for you tube, can you share you secret?

i really enjoyed that. the music fit well with the theme and i particularly liked how even inside a demo reel, there was an element of story almost.
i really liked to colors. keep it up man

Nice work. Definitely some of the best compression I've seen on YouTube too.

My only beef would be maybe more band and less board. It's pretty heavy on skateboarding versus the other material. That's about it.

thank you everybody, i really appreciate it. I didnt really get a chance to work on much else besides the skatefilm "sink or swim" i just finished so i really scrapped around and tried to even it out. This year hopefully ill get some more music videos. The compression was through a program called Vmutube(which is a flash hack) and you can find out more about it through youtube OR you could just use vimeo. I just opened and accnt with them and its really great stuff. Sorry i didnt post setup totally forgot, its all DVX100a and LetusFE. thank you guys!

very impressive, ethan. you color correcting in FCP or MB? the lenses you use are looking damn good. names? keep it up.

thanks again guys. i use the nikon mount and have 3 different lenses. all 3 came out to be 180$ about, so in other words they are cheap ones. 50mm 1.4, 28mm 2.8, 105mm 2.8. CC was done through MB and through premiere. i usually use a lighter shade of MB then pull levels over it. as far as compression goes if you look into VMutube on youtube im sure you could find a tut. would be difficult to explain srry.
