Deleting spanned clips from l&t

Can you highlight both of them and delete
And are you aware that once deleted, they are gone?

Hi David, What do you mean gone? I have done this several times before and my clips are not gone from my project folder. let me clarify....
I drag my p2 clips into the top left box of the "log and transfer" window. then I take the clips and drag them down to the "darg media here" box and they load... then i close the log and transfer window and work with the clips in the project window. the next time I open log and transfer i delete the clips that show up in the top left box from the last time i loaded. I still have the clips in my project file correct? but the spanned files (I have 13 of them on there) will not delete so the log and transfer window is a bit clustered on the upper left box.
what am i doing wrong? i appreciate the help! thanks!

all my projects backed up in a raid 1 hard drive set up. I tried to highlight all, and multiple clips and when I press delete it just makes a "beep" then I tried pressing the apple key and delete and a warning window comes up the reads "warning the selected media cannot deleted" i think they left out "be" anyway, any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks again!

Oh my God, I am an idiot! (i've come to terms with this) upper left of log and transfer window is the "eject volume" button and I used this to easily clear out the spanned clips in the L&T window. I'm happy that my headache was caused by my own stupidity rather than a flaw in FCP! LOL!
