Just playing around with the baby! And my new loverly toy Avid Media Composer :-D! I just cant get over how much better AMC>SorrensonSqueeze is then any premiere crap.

Sorry for all the cat shots, she was in one of her moods and kept on begging me to point the lens at her. Even tho she wouldnt hold still for more then 5 or 6 seconds once I got her framed and focused...

Cats suck to shoot, especially young ones. Your footage looks way good though. I can't stand Avid though. I took some classes on it, but I just can't stand it. It isn't the kind of program you can just open and learn on your own that easily.
 
... I did. I literally opened up the box (got it from my school), installed it, pluged in the dongle (got that word is SO eroticizing), opened it up, went to aivds website, watched a few tutorials.... ok so its not easy out of the box... but it facking KILLS everything else.
 
I just need to give it a better chance, it is the industry standard still I believe. I got mad when I couldn't click and drag time line stuff to certain lengths. Never bothered to look up how to do it though.

You got some really good shots in there. That would be a sick commercial for farm insurance. You shoot that in squishy mode?
 
nope, the fatass 4x3 croped to scope in sorrenson. Dude, WTF why dont you like rise against? or is it that version of that song?
 
I second Stevens comments about avid. I cant stand avid. I think its very limiting that you can click and drag stuff onto the timeline or move it down. You have to use certain functions to do it and I find it very tedious at times. Final Cut just lets you do whatever more freedoms like painting on a canvas. Anyways, the footage looks good keep it up.
