David Fincher, Peter Jackson, David Stump, Otto Nemenz and Warner Bros. @RED?

Wow. Great piece of information. Care to elaborate on that, Graeme? Understand if you don't. Of course you guys are entitled to some secrets... Are these names on the list of reservations amongst gentlemen as ourselves? :)

Fincher and Stump! Hooray!

Not to beat a dead horse, but seeing as the Finch got name dropped: PLEASE INCLUDE DIGITAL SLATES!

I would assume that if David is involved, Claudio Miranda will be shooting some test stuff. If so, you'll be seeing some beautiful images from RED in the new year

Don't get too carried away with speculation. David Stump is coming to RED next week to shoot a "proper" green screen. There are some very well known industry leaders that have placed reservations. It is no secret that Otto's group is one of them. We are reluctant to single out others, although there is a great deal of interest and reservations at the highest level.

Jim, what do you think about the news today (or yesterday) that SONY is coming out with a 4K camera in 2 yrs? I think you got them to start accelerating. I wonder if they are using the Genesis CCDs

Any chance we'll have access to the footage Stump shoots? He shot all of the green screen footage for FXguidePHD didn't he?

Also, any chance of behind the scenes photos of the lighting set-up, no need for a lighting plot ;-). I know a shot of "frankie" is out of the queastion, I understand she is a bit shy- so no worries there ( in development and all...). Seriously though, I would love to see what Mr. Stump and his Gaffer would do... After the basics, everyone takes diffent paths ...

Thanks Guys,

Well Lucas definitely has an interest then. He's pretty much the highest level in terms of power in the industry. Besides, why wouldn't one of cinema's greatest innovators not be apart of what is possibly the greatest revolution in digital cinema if not cinema as a whole?

Im pretty stoked on Jackson being mentioned; imagine if he teams up with New Line again for The Hobbit...and this time being in 4k...man that would be awesome.

Or perhaps he may use it for the 4k re-make of BAD TASTE
