C300: Data issue on cf card

I shot about 29g on a 32g card. Hit the stop button then the change slot button (possibly before the card had finished writing) then record again. There was no indication of error. After the event I went to DL the cards and found odd files and the Contents folder. There were no clips in the Contents, clips 001 folder and I've not been able to recover any readable .mxf files after trying three various recovery programs. The computer says the card has 29GB on it but I can't access it. The camera says "no clips". The second card worked normally. Help.

I use mac, so Im assuming on Windows all you usually see is the contents folder? And whats showing up inside that folder?

EditL I can’t tell if this image is of the contents folder open.

The image is the card as it's opened in windows. The contents folder has the clips 001 folder but no .mxf files in it.
I tried this on a mac and windows system with various card readers. Same result. Strange and totally screwing me over.
My last effort, I guess, will be to format the card in camera and then try a recovery to see if that fixes anything.

DON'T format the card if you are trying to recover files from it !!! Formatting will completely wipe it!

If on a Mac I would try disk repair (repair volume) on your CF card volume and see if that helps. I have had a couple of random card errors in the last 19 months and disk repair utility has straightened things out.

TO echo GC, Ive used DR3 to recover a completely formatted card and was able to recover the MXF files.
