Creating Light Streaks

I used to have an XH-A1 and I would crank up the shutter and there would be a Ghosting effect. Now with the 7D how is this possible while recording VIDEO. We all know about the photography side but what about video.

Not sure about 7d but t2i doesn't let you set a slow enough shutter speed to create that effect. I'm sure it could be done in post, perhaps in AE if you mess around with a motion blur effect. You would have to research that further though. Best of luck.

If you try and use any shutter speed other than 1/60 (1/50 for PAL) under synthetic light sources, you'll be dealing with some nasty artifacs (strobing color shift, really unpleasant).
