cooke 18-100

Sweet!

Are those 19mm rods? What hardware is used to adapt the Zacuto baseplate to the rods and, ultimately, to the tripod head?

I was just looking at one of those lenses for sale on Ebay. Seeing the lens in your photos mounted on the AF answers all my questions.

Looks to be a zacuto "jeep" which lets you use 15mm and 19mmm rods:

That's what I thought... at first. But, the Jeep connects to the Universal Baseplate via 15mm rods at the top. The Zacuto baseplate in the photos has no rods on it.

yes 19mm rods attached to our arri baseplate used for our panny 3700 in cine mode and we replaced the standard camera plate with a few zacuto bits to mount the camera. the lens support is a red universal mount

A good option for 19mm support is the allstar system. http://allstar-cine.myweb.hinet.net/html/red_accessories/Accessories.html I have had this on my red for the last 2 years and it is a solid piece of kit at a reasonable price.

That was "helpful" to the rest of us! Not!

What were the questions and what were the answers?

:-)

I didn't have a clear memory of just how physically large the cooke lens was. THe photos of the lens on ebay didn't provide a sense of scale, so seeing the lens mounted on the AF told the whole story: its a big lens.
