Confirmed Uploads

Ooops! I sent a .wav instead of an .ac3 with my .m2v DVD files (I can't make an .ac3). I gotta buy some plug-in for Adobe Premiere or something I guess to make .ac3 files. I had to sleep this morning, and now I'm at work until later tonight. I'll try to figure it out tonight when I get back home.

Spidey, your file will be up in 5 min.

I think the fastest upload speed known to man is here where I work... looking at a solid 180 kbs the entire time.

**** MY ADVICE... USE GOOD SPEAKERS OR HEADPHONES WHEN VIEWING FILMS!!!
My film is an entirely different movie with good sound. Cheap laptop speakers just don't cut it. Not even close.
I'm sure this goes for ALL the FILMS.

SOUND MATTERS! enjoy! ****

Totally agree with that statement.. I was about to cry when I had to put my audio at 24k but it still sounds pretty good. The mpg is way better but the .mov is not bad

I uploaded last night, but I think Premier Pro h264 stretched my vid. I used the dang widescreen 16:9 too. Cuz thats what I filmed in, but it stretched it to 4:3 Plus I think I encoded the mpeg2 version wrong as well. I was in a hurry

Sorry to clutter up this thread, but my original DVD audio .wav file came out to 58MB, and then shrunk all the way down to only 7.2MB after I converted it to an .ac3 file using the utility that FlintMI posted above. Does that sound right?

I'm going to do a Premiere Pro, Encore, uprez, Quicktime, letterbox, crop, 4:3, 16:9, 2.35:1, pixel aspect ratio, frame aspect ratio, tutorial here after seeing all the headaches (I had 'em too). :crybaby:

So next time it'll be just follow the checklist and no more time consuming trial and error (but that's how you do learn!)

just got home.. jesus there is a hella mess on the server :) Might take me an hour or so to sort things out, but ill try and update the list as soon as i can.

Looks like Jarred's back... maybe he can give us an update on who's up, and a timeframe of when films will be viewable.
I think he just addressed that...
